INTRODUCTION

Android Studio is integrated development environment (IDE) for Google’s Android operating system, built on JetBrains’ IntelliJ IDEA software and designed specifically for Android development.

Integrated development environment (IDE) is a software application that provides comprehensive facilities to computer programmers for software development. An IDE normally consists of at least a source code editor, build automation tools and a debugger.

First android studio version 1.0 was released on 13th May 2013.

Latest android version 3.5 and was released on 20th August 2019 developed by Google, JetBrains.
